Coaching is designed to help you navigate your life from a place of empowerment. Coaches guide their clients toward their own answers; rather than tell you what to do, we help you discover where YOU truly want to go, co-create a plan to get you there, and support you as you move toward your destination.
Intuitive Coaching goes beyond traditional life coaching in that your intuition takes the driver’s seat. Rather than ask your conscious mind to figure everything out, we go straight to the part of you that is infinitely wise and that KNOWS the best path for you.
Kind of takes the pressure off, doesn’t it? You don’t need to sweat the details. You don’t even need to have a clue what you want. Through intuitive coaching, we’ll connect you to the inner wisdom that holds all the answers.
This is where Somatic Healing comes in. Somatic therapy is a practice that focuses on accessing and healing the root cause of the trauma through bodily sensations. Using this healing modality, you can bypass the conscious mind, which usually can’t identify the source of a trauma. Somatic healing offers an easier access point for people to find the deepest level of what they’re experiencing. You can then bring awareness to the trapped emotion, neutralize it, and allow it to release.

I use “intuition” to describe one’s inner guidance system. I also use this term interchangeably with “inner wisdom” and “inner voice.”
Intuition is like an internal GPS, always directing us towards the easiest, safest route. Our intuition understands the Universe’s flow of energy and helps us align with that flow in the direction of our highest good.
When we check in with our inner wisdom, we’ll be given directions that our minds may or may not agree with: "Take the job,” “Go to that cafe today,” “Don’t respond to this email yet.” We have the choice to follow this guidance, even when it seems to make no sense, or we can choose from any number of paths forward.
If we go against our intuition, that’s okay — we just tend to hit potholes, follow detours, or come to a “Road Closed” sign in our life. The good news is, our intuition is infinitely compassionate and wise, and it will always reroute us to the best route from where we are right now.

Everyone has an intuition! It’s an intrinsic part of the human experience, but most of us weren’t taught to view it as legitimate. This means we might have some de-conditioning, clearing, and unlearning to do before we can find that “muscle.” Once we do, it takes practice to strengthen the connection — just like with any muscle!
I love a metaphor that Bella Lively uses:
If our natural state is one of peace, trust, and alignment, you can think of it as a table with nothing on top of it. When there’s nothing on the surface, you can see the whole table — the flow that’s always there.
Throughout our lives, we accumulate traumas and beliefs that are like clutter on the table. This clutter blocks the natural wisdom and trust that are already there. Nobody needs to build their intuition; we just have to clear the clutter off the table! The more of the table’s surface we can see, the more direct access we have to that wiser, deeper part of ourselves.

Like traditional talk therapy, our sessions are therapeutic, but they go beyond pure therapy. Our sessions involve gaining a deeper level of wisdom and understanding than one typically does in a therapy session.
People often think about therapy as an ongoing conversation where you share topics or situations that are bothering you, and a therapist helps you reflect, identify patterns, and determine what you want to change. In our sessions, we uncover the root cause of blockages and use healing modalities to resolve them. We refer to your inner wisdom as the ultimate source of truth — we’ll never tell you what we think you should do, but we WILL ask your Inner Voice!
Through Sandstone’s packages and sessions, we allow you to gain a deep understanding of your situation and identify a clear direction to move forward. -
We’ll begin by grounding ourselves with some deep breaths, settling into our bodies. Next, we’ll check in about what you’d like to work on and how you’re feeling.
We’ll then use body sensations (e.g. tightness in the chest or buzzing energy in the limbs) to guide us toward the root cause of your issue. I’ll walk you through an integration and release process, which can range from just breathing and feeling into what’s there, to incorporating an intervention, like a forgiveness practice or an inner child dialogue.
When the block or trauma is fully released, I’ll help you access your inner wisdom so you emerge from the session with profound insights and personalized guidance for moving forward.

We primarily meet with clients over Zoom (we've found that it works just as well as in-person sessions). That's totally fine! It doesn't matter to us what you believe in, just that you're excited to release what's no longer serving you and grow into the brightest version of yourself.
We’ll stick with whatever aligns most for you in a session.
If you're interested in booking a Total Transformation package and don't want to look at your astrology, we'll skip it and focus on the many other modalities we have to work with!

Ask your intuition! We’re excited to work with anyone who gets an intuitive YES! (See below for a quick “how to check with your intuition”)
If it's a NO or a NOT YET, that's fine! One of our trusted partners might be a better match for you right now; you can schedule a complimentary consultation call with us so we can help you find the right fit. You’re welcome back anytime.

How to check with your intuition:
Have you ever just KNOWN something was a good decision? If so, where did you sense that in your body? It might have been your heart, your gut, or somewhere else - but wherever it was, you would have felt a sense of calm, neutral certainty.
Intuition doesn't feel like fear, anxiety, or hyper excitement. It just feels...right.
Go to that place in your body and take slow, deep breaths. Focus on relaxing into what's already there, with no expectations. Inhale through the nose, and slowly exhale through the mouth.
Keep doing this until you reach that peaceful, neutral feeling. Ask this area of your body, "Ought I work with Kaitlin?" Breathe through any fears, doubts, or thoughts…and then breathe some more. See what answer feels most peaceful, what resonates. Trust it.
